- Account information: Your email address and username provided when you sign up or sign in (including through third-party authentication managed via Supabase).
- Profile and Progress: Your language preferences, learning statistics, achievements unlocked, and saved vocabulary data.
- Subscription information: Your transaction and subscription status details. We do not directly collect or store your payment details — all purchases and payments are processed securely by Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
- Usage and device information: Information about how you interact with the app, basic device and log data, and advertising identifiers when ads are shown.
How We Use Your Information
- To provide, operate, and maintain LingoFlow, tracking your learning progress and statistics.
- To personalize your learning experience, including managing achievements and user profiles.
- To display relevant advertisements via Google AdMob (on our free tier).
- To manage in-app subscriptions, send notifications (such as study reminders) if enabled, and respond to support queries.
Third-Party Services and Processing
- Supabase: Used for database storage, user authentication, and backend API functions.
- Google AdMob (Google Ads): Used to serve ads. AdMob may collect and use device identifiers and usage data to personalize ads.
- Apple and Google Payment Processors: Handle all in-app subscription and transaction details.
- These providers process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review their terms.
Data Retention
We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the service. You can request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time.
Your Choices and Rights
- You can access and update your profile, manage your learning settings, or request to delete your account.
- How to request account and data deletion: You can request that your account and all associated data be deleted by contacting us via our support email at support@lingoflow.app with the subject "Account Deletion Request". When you request deletion, we will delete your account information, learning history, and progress.
- You can remove ads by subscribing to a paid premium tier.
Children's Privacy
LingoFlow is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us so we can take immediate action to remove it.
Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will update the "Last updated" date above and notify you in the app where appropriate. Your continued use of LingoFlow after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
